Structure of the individual model types

The following chapters describe how the various model types are constructed and what data is required. Practical examples are included to illustrate the procedures.

It is advisable to first familiarise yourself with the general procedure for setting up a model described in the chapter "From nature to model", as well as with the "SPRING user interface" and with the "Data and file structures" of this manual.

The following chapter provides a step by step guide which will enable the user to set up a horizontal groundwater model. The text and the sample data are available for download as a zip file on our homepage:
