This menu summarises the SPRING options from the graphical display (formerly XPLT and XSUSI options, spring.opt) and the plot options from the plot creation (formerly PLOGEO options, plogeo.ini). The settings from this menu is stored in the spring.opt and plogeo.ini files, which are created in the following directory:

"C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\SPRING\Konfig" (Windows 10, 11). This path varies depending on the operating system or hard drive partitioning.

The structure of the two files is explained in the chapter: "Data structure – Initialization files".

The options are divided into the following broad classes: General, Mesh, Plot, Plogeo, Objects and Colours. The possible setting options are described in the following chapters.
