Toolbars

The toolbars (see illustration below) contain buttons for quick access to the most often-used menu commands. The name of the command is displayed when the mouse pointer is positioned over the button.

The toolbar buttons are arranged in groups. Which toolbars are displayed can be controlled through the View Toolbars menu item. These settings apply to the current view and are saved when the programme is closed. The toolbar groups can also be dragged to another position on the graphical user interface by clicking on the handle on the left-hand side of the toolbar and moving it to the desired location while keeping the left mouse button held down. If the toolbar is placed in the centre of the application window, it is undocked, and the menu will be “floating”. If the toolbar is placed near the edge of the application window, it is docked to the corresponding position. Below is an example of the "Standard" toolbar:
