Flooding parameters for mine structures, mines

Flooding parameters for mine structures, mines

Attribute:

GRUB [-] (node-wise) (3D models only)

HMAX [m] Stowage target (node-wise) (3D models only)

MENG [m³/TU] External addition rate (node-wise) (3D models only)

In order to the simulate the flooding of voids (for example pit structures), the voids must be labelled with an area number (integer value larger than zero) at the nodes. This number is then used to designate the retention-height-volume relationship.

If the GRUB attribute is assigned, a dialogue box in SPRING (Attributes Extras Flooding parameters) can be used to assign the decant water level (HMAX) and the water addition rate (MENG) for the individual voids. At this point, the reference to the retention-height-volume relationship file grubeX.hv (in *.csv format) is also established.

The csv file should have the following structure:

10.0,0.0

15.0,234900.0

30.0,511600.0

35.0,602800.0

50.0,783000.0

The HMAX and MENG attributes can vary with different time steps by assigning transient data.
