The following data must be available for all elements and nodes for the top element or node layer in the model file:
Terrain elevation (attribute GELA). To calculate the relief energy or the slope to take into account the slope-related surface runoff according to Schroeder and Wyrwich.
Calibration potential heads: For calculating the depth to the groundwater table. The conversion of node values into element values is carried out automatically within the groundwater recharge calculation.
Soil type (attribute NSBT): The soil type must be specified as an element attribute in the model file according to the following classification:
Soil type |
Classification (= NSBT) |
Terrestrial sandy soils |
0 |
Terrestrial clay soils |
10 |
Semi terrestrial soils |
20, 21, 22 |
Degree of sealing (attribute VERS): The degree of sealing is specified element by element in the unit [%]. It is required to calculate the sealing-related surface runoff.
Land use class (attribute NSFN): The land use class must be specified for all elements according to the following classification in the model file:
Land utilisation |
Classification (= NSFN) |
Farm-, grassland |
0 |
Decidous forest |
1 |
Mixed forest |
2 |
Coniferous forest |
3 |
Developed areas |
