Input data in the model file

The following data must be available for all elements and nodes for the top element or node layer in the model file:

 

  • Terrain elevation (attribute GELA). To calculate the relief energy or the slope to take into account the slope-related surface runoff according to Schroeder and Wyrwich.

  • Calibration potential heads: For calculating the depth to the groundwater table. The conversion of node values into element values is carried out automatically within the groundwater recharge calculation.

  • Soil type (attribute NSBT): The soil type must be specified as an element attribute in the model file according to the following classification:

  • Degree of sealing (attribute VERS): The degree of sealing is specified element by element in the unit [%]. It is required to calculate the sealing-related surface runoff.

  • Land use class (attribute NSFN): The land use class must be specified for all elements according to the following classification in the model file:
