TECPLOT is a commercial visualisation programme that can be used to generate three-dimensional graphics of model and result data from 2D or 3D models. Most model and result data can be exported to ASCII files in a TECPLOT-compatible manner using this menu item.

Subsequent visualisation of path lines and the creation of 3D animations are also possible with TECPLOT. As only node-related data can be managed in TECPLOT, all element data must first be averaged to node data.

In the case of 3D models with 2D meshes, the filtered output of the data on the meshes is supported in addition to the usual output of all nodes/element data of the complete 3D mesh.
