Input parameters

The following input window appears:

Input for ARCInfo data output

Output

The name of the output file is defined here, to which the ArcInfo-specific file extensions are appended. In the case of a 3D model, the layer number for the data to be exported can also be specified.

Data and results

If "Result data" is selected, a further control window appears after a transient calculation in which the desired time step can be selected.

If the data to be exported is node data, three output files are generated:

File

Contents

<name>.bru

Element edges with values of the node data type at the corner nodes of the elements

<name>.pkt

Element centres with values of the node data type

<name>.umr

Mesh edge polygons (outer and any existing inner edges) with values of the node data type at the corner nodes of the polygons

If the data to be exported is element data, four output files are generated:

File

Contents

<name>.bru

Element edges without data (output file identical for all element data types!)

<name>.pkt

Element centres with element numbers without data (output file identical for all element data types!)

<name>.umr

Mesh edge polygons (outer and any existing inner edges) without data (output file identical for all element data types!)

<name>.tab

Tabular file with the element numbers and element data

The buttons at the top of the input window allow you to reset the input parameters (), open an existing batch file () or save the current batch file under a different name ().
