Zones of anisotropy (2D)

Attribute: ZONE [-] (zone number, horizontal model)

Within the mesh, zones can be defined that have anisotropic material properties. This attribute must be selected if anisotropic conductivities should be considered. Each zone is characterized by a positive integer which has to be assigned to each element of each zone. For each zone number K-values and angles must be defined within the material data (MATE). The zone numbers (ZONE) require necessarily the attribute MATE (material data).

If in the entire mesh only isotropic K-values with uniform anisotropy values are available, a zone number is not required. The value must be an integer greater than 0.
