The following intermediate results are delivered from the finite element calculation (partly on request) and saved in the output file "out.s":

Potential heads at each node (detailed protocol selected)

Saturation at each node (saturated/unsaturated flow and detailed protocol selected),

Field velocity at each element (saved in the background files only when detailed protocol is selected),

Mass balance with the total of inflow and outflow rates. It is compared to the total of the mass flow rates. The total of the input and the calculated mass flow rates must be close to zero. Additionally, the inflow rates (positive sign) are compared to the outflow rates (negative sign). The areas with BILK and BILE are also balanced.
