Results of the transient flow calculation

At the end of a transient calculation the following results (partly on request) are delivered:

Potential heads at each node

Peak values of the calculated data (e.g. maximum potential heads) and the corresponding time steps

They are imported by Attributes Import model data/computation results...:

Saturation at each node (saturated/unsaturated flow)

Iterated thickness at each node (horizontal model, calculation including an iteration of the thickness)

Field velocity at each element

Velocity field for the last time step for visualization with STRING

Velocity at each fracture element (if existing)

Distance between ground level and ground water level at each node (if the input file contains ground levels

Mass flow rates (inflow and outflow rates) at each node with a boundary condition for the potential heads (POTE)

Leakage rates at nodes and elements, if the input file contains leakage coefficients (LERA, LEKN, LEEL) and receiving water course levels (VORF

Mass balance with the total of inflow and outflow rates. It is compared to the total of the mass flow rates (see before). The total of the input and the calculated mass flow rates must be approximately zero. Additionally, the inflow rates (positive sign) are compared to the outflow rates (negative sign). The areas with BILK and BILE are balanced, too.

Mass flow rates at control lines, if defined in the model file.
