Export TECPLOT …
TECPLOT is a commercial visualization program, which helps to generate three-dimensional graphics of model and result data from 2D or 3D models. Most model and result data can be exported with this menu item TECPLOT-compatible to ASCII files.
A subsequent visualization of path lines and creating 3D animations is possible with TECPLOT. Because TECPLOT only manages node data, all the element data is first averaged to node data.
In case of 3D models with 2D fractures, the data export for TECPLOT supports the separated data output on the fracture planes. Otherwise, the node or element data of the whole mesh are printed to the output file.
