Export ARC-Info output
Most of the input data and the results can be written to ASCII files using the data export interface with ARC/INFO. The GIS program can load the resulting files and use the data. The files contain all the necessary information to prevent misinterpretation in ARC/INFO (e.g. smearing via interpolation). Hence, the program can intersect and blend the data with other data, create equal value contours, etc.
