The following input window appears:
Output
Here the name of the output file is determined to which the ArcInfo-specific extensions are attached. Additionally, the layer number for the data to be exported in a 3D model is specified.
Data and results
If result data is selected after a transient calculation another selection box appears where the desired time step is defined.
If the export data are node data, three output files are created:
File |
Contents |
<name>.bru |
element edges with nodewise data at the element corner nodes |
<name>.pkt |
element centres with nodewise data |
<name>.umr |
mesh boundary polygons (outer and inner boundaries) with nodewise data at the corner nodes |
If the export data are element data, four output files are created:
File |
Contents |
<name>.bru |
element edges without any data (this file has the same appearance for all data types!) |
<name>.pkt |
element centres with element numbers without any data (this file has the same appearance for all data types!) |
<name>.umr |
mesh boundary polygons (outer and inner boundaries) without any data (this file has the same appearance for all data types!) |
<name>.tab |
table with element numbers and element data |
The buttons at the top of the input window allow resetting the input parameters (), opening an existing batch file (
) or saving the current batch file under another name (
).
