Attribute: NIED [m/TU or m³/m²/TU], (element-wise) (horizontal and 3D models only)

The data type NIED requires the time unit to be specified as “JAHR” (year) in the model file!

The precipitation data type is assigned to elements. To convert the total precipitation rate to proportionate rates for the individual element areas, the entry "*" is required in 16^th column of the model file. In general, the precipitation data is provided in Excel files. An example of a precipitation distribution is shown in the following figure:
