Numbering offset for nodes in a 3D model

Numbering offset for nodes in a 3D model

Data identifier: 3DNR [-] (only in 3D model files, *.3d)

The starting value for the automatic numbering of node and element numbers for deeper layers in 3D models can be set to any value by using this identifier, the default preset provides an offset of 10,000. Keep in mind that the highest node number of the uppermost node layer must be smaller than the selected offset. The number offset is updated automatically if a node number greater than the number offset is created in the top node layer during mesh generation with SPRING. For example:

3DNR = 15000

As a result of the above, the equivalent node 15 of the upper layer will be numbered 15015 in the second node layer, 30015 in the third, and so on.
