All material-specific parameters, termination criteria, scaling factors of node and element values as well as information on the equation solver are saved in the sitr file. These values can be specified via the input window of the calculation module. The file is created automatically when the SITRA (or INSTAT) calculation module is called in the current working directory. It initially contains the default settings for the specified model type. After editing the parameters via the input dialogue, saving the batch file or starting the calculation with OK, the changed parameters are saved to the sitr file. Due to the complex formatted structure of the sitr file, it is not recommended to edit the file using a text editor.
