File with target values for Chart display

File with target values for Chart display

If a chart with the data over time (e.g. a hydrograph) is to be displayed after a transient calculation, it is possible to compare the calculated/simulated values with the measured values, e.g. at a groundwater monitoring point (target values).

To do this, the measured data must be available in the target file format with the following structure:

DATUM 01.01.2022

8# MS130

01.10.202251.89

01.11.202251.90

01.12.202251.88

01.01.202351.79

3# MS131

01.10.202237.21

05.11.202237.97

05.12.202238.20

05.01.202337.11

The file usually begins with a reference date, which is then followed by a node number. The name of the groundwater monitoring well can be assigned to the node number after the hashtag (#), which will then be shown in the plot.

The rows following node number then contain the measurement date and the measured value (format F10.2), which can then be repeated at each relevant node (water level or groundwater measuring point). If all the target values are specified for a specific node, then you can

add a separating blank row, and after that continue with the next node number and the target values for that node.

Instead of a date in the first row, it is possible to define a time unit corresponding to the time unit in the transient input file (SEKUNDE (seconds), MINUTE, STUNDE (hours), TAG (days), MONAT (months) or JAHR (years)). In this case, the measured values of the nodes contain a time instead of the date.

Example:
