K-value

With this type of data permeability values (only isotropy) may be entered element wise. The unit m/s is independent of the time unit of the model file.

'F' in column 15 means that the permeabilities for the corresponding element numbers are saved as measuring values which are not to be changed during the iterative calibration.

In general, the input K values apply to isotropic conditions by default, e.g., in the horizontal and vertical model it is k_x = k_y and in the 3D model it is k_x = k_y and k_z = k_x * KFVH. The factor KFVH for the permeability in the Z-direction is set to 1/10, unless it is explicitly defined. By the factor KFVH <1.0 a degree of anisotropy is considered in the vertical direction.
