The actual evapotranspiration by Meßer is calculated by the climate zones, soil types, depth to the water level and land use. The calculation is based on dbase files which are stored during the installation of SPRING in the directory "C: \ Users \ Public \ Documents \ SPRING \ Config" (on Windows 7 or ). This path varies depending on the operating system or the hard drive partitioning (e.g. under Windows XP: "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\SPRING\Konfig").
