Initialization file spring.opt

A series of default settings of SPRING are saved in the option file with the name spring.opt. The file is located in the directory:

"C:\Users\Public\Documents\SPRING\Konfig" (Windows 7 or Windows ). This path varies depending on the operating system or the hard drive partitioning (e.g. under Windows XP: "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\SPRING\Konfig").

It is edited via the menu Options in the Edit menu of the SPRING-user interface.

For every option a line is defined containing the option name, followed by a colon. Then there must be at least one separator (space or Tab) and the desired option value. The order of options in the file is arbitrary. If an option exists several times the last entry will be used. Each line will be interpreted, comment lines get a "#" as the first character. If the option is changed with SPRING Edit Options… the comment lines will not be saved!

When starting SPRING the file spring.opt will be read and the settings are adopted.
