Attention: The project must always be stored before starting the model checking! Otherwise the last modifications are not considered!
Via the menu item Calculation Model checking the following input window appears (for a 3D model):
When calling the module, the program reads the batch file with the default name dadia.bda (if it exists), and the default settings in the mask may be changed accordingly.
In the block "In General", the name of the output file (default: out.de) is entered and selected, whether a Detailed Protocol or an Extended data check is desired.
By default, the coordinates of nodes, the incidences and the data types (without values) are recorded in the output file. Activating the protocol leads to complete data sets in the output file with the identification and the corresponding values.
In the case of large models, a detailed protocol of the input data (Detailed check of input data) can significantly increase the computing time. That's why the user should activate this function only after generation of a completely new mesh, or after having made significant changes in the input data. By default, each time a minimal check of the mesh and the input data is carried out. The detailed check considers:

Geometry of the mesh (nodes in elements, intersection of elements ...)

Double node numbers

Fixed potential head and inflow / outflow rate as boundary condition for the same node

Completeness of data for the whole mesh

Check of data and plausibility controls, for most data types
In the block "Extended" the name of the dimension file (*.dim, generated automatically during the saving) and possibly an additional file to be considered has to be specified. These can either be entered directly or selected from any directory by pressing the button “File open”.
The additional files have the same structure as the model files. Here, single or multiple data types can be specified to complete the inputs of the model files or (with the same node or element number) over write. In this way, e.g. various withdrawals can be separated from the rest and kept in different files.
This procedure is suitable when multiple variants are to be calculated.
The block "Extended 3D" appears only during the model checking of a 3D model. Here you are asked for the name of the possibly to be considered (three dimensional) additional file.
At last, the minimum difference of z-coordinates is defined. In a 3D model nodes are merged together if the vertical distance of their z-coordinates is equal or less than the defined value.
The buttons at the top of the input window allow resetting the input parameters (), opening an existing batch file (
) or saving the current batch file under another name (
).
The buttons at the bottom of the input window start the calculation (OK button), close the dialog box (Cancel) or open the digital manual (help button).
